Christmas comes late at ACS with d&b audiotechnik
Christmas came late this year when Santa showed up on January 20, 2017 with a delivery truck full a new speakers. Continuing a 30-plus-year tradition of audio excellence, ACS has added an array of d&b audiotechnik products to its inventory. V8 and V12 Line array elements have been added along with the V7P point source boxes and upgraded B22 subwoofers. The V7P and V10P represent a new breed of point source loudspeakers. An advanced horn-loaded mid range section provides a remarkable MF sensitivity. This exceptional performance, particularly in the vocal range, is where these compact loudspeakers excel, making them perfect for applications which demand high sound pressure levels with full bandwidth capabilities from a single box solution. The 3-way passive V8 and V12 line array loudspeakers provide 80° and 120° horizontal dispersion respectively, maintained down to 250 Hz. The loudspeakers are not only compact but feature an integrated three point rigging system for extra efficiency.

The B22-SUB is a high performance subwoofer designed for ground stacked applications, housing two long excursion 18” drivers built into a bandpass horn cabinet design. With high Sound Pressure Levels and an extended frequency response, the B22-SUB is ideal for any large format sound reinforcement application. When operated in INFRA mode, the B22-SUB can be used to complement other d&b subwoofers by extending the frequency response of the system. When three or any multiple of three B22 subwoofers are used, they can be positioned in a Cardioid Subwoofer Array, achieving impressive directivity control at lower frequencies and significantly reducing the energy radiating towards to the rear.
